Love what looks like a tiny red heart amidst the complete saturation and chaos surrounding it. Should feel overwhelmingly "busy" but instead it has a really "balanced" feel to it, which I find intriguing! Must order in a large canvas!

Derek Kaplan replied:

Well spotted, thanks so much Karen. :-) xxoo

I purchased a canvas print (29.88" x 30") of Only a Dream. It was delivered this past Friday, beautifully packaged. I immediately unpacked it and installed it on the wall above my fireplace. It is absolutely stunning. It is even more striking than I imagined it would be and I am in love with it. Derek Kaplan's talent is immense. I could not be more pleased. The entire process was seamless, my communication with the artist was first rate and the ease of ordering and fast delivery made it a completely pleasant business transaction. My sincere thanks to Derek!

Derek Kaplan replied:

You're welcome Douglas, so happy you love it. Enjoy! :-)

Rainfall was infrequent during the long dry season, but when it came, the clouds and storms that accompanied it inspired Derek's earliest paintings. Throughout his school years, Derek excelled at art and gained recognition by his teachers. In fact, his high school art teacher was so impressed with Derek's work that he encouraged him to advance his studies in art after high school, but Derek decided to pursue a more financially stable path. At the age of 21,...
